Our mission is to GO into the world, TELL, people about Jesus and LIVE lives according to God's will.

Where we come from

In March 2014, a group from Calvary Chapel Las Vegas felt led by God to plant a church in New Hampshire. GBC was established in Portsmouth and moved to Dover in 2019.

What's next

AWAKEN

We want to fulfill the great commission by walking out God's Calling to wake up the spiritually dead. 

"Awake, O sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."  Ephesians 5:14

A Calvary Chapel Church

Our affiliation with Calvary Chapel provides us with accountability and fellowship with a credible ministry while still allowing us to maintain our independent, non-denominational status. Each church is governed by its leadership and selects its own pastors, elders, and deacons. The ordination of ministers is also performed by the board of members of individual churches. Therefore, every church is entirely independent.

WE BELIEVE...

JESUS IS OUR ANCHOR

  • He died for our sins

  • He rose again on the third day

  • He defeated death and hell

THE WORD IS OUR GUIDE

  • All Scripture is God-breathed; it is alive and infallible

  • God's Word alone is the authority on how we live

  • We teach expositorily (verse-by-verse)

WORSHIP IS OUR PASSION

  • We exist to worship God

  • We worship through music, prayer and a life poured out for Jesus

  • Our lives are to be worship to God

COMMUNITY IS OUR DESIRE

  • ​We aspire to be a life-changing community where each member is becoming a clearer image of Jesus

  • Community begins when fellowship is taken seriously

  • Community grows as we let down our walls and remove all our "plastic parts"

FAITH IS OUR RESPONSE

  • We have faith that God wants to move in every life

  • A life following the direction of the Holy Spirit is the best life

  • God's grace is sufficient for the times we miss the mark and sin

SERVING IS OUR PRIVILEGE

  • God did not intend for his children to sit idly in their walks

  • Serving God and others matures us

  • We find joy through our service

PEOPLE ARE OUR PURPOSE

  • There is no higher purpose than to proclaim to humanity by word and deed the gospel of Christ​

  • Discipleship happens as we study God's word and participate in ministry opportunities and outreach

WE EXIST TO LOVE GOD AND OTHERS

  • This is the entire law summarized by Jesus

  • This can only be done through the power of the Holy Spirit working in our lives
